Macro in the garden with the Sigma 105mm lens
This blog post features some more Macro pictures taken in the garden using the Canon EOS 90D coupled with the Sigma 105 f2.8 macro lens.
In the last couple of days I have been experimenting with home made light modifiers and it’s fair to say that I have been pleased with the results – getting the lighting right is super critical for extreme close up photography and to be honest it has been an area that I have been finding quite difficult to get right.

At times macro photography has felt like something of a ‘dark art’ to me, but I do feel that to some extent I am starting to get a grip of it, recent work with a couple of home made light modifiers has been really helpful and I intend to write a separate post about that shortly.
