Another trip to the glorious Emerald Isle

Another trip to the glorious Emerald Isle

I’m just back from a terrific couple of weeks across the water in Ireland. Regular visitors will know that this year I have made a couple of trips to Ireland on one of my motorbikes.

The first was back in June when I travelled to Dublin and then down to towards Cork and Kerry, and then I was back again in July in Southern Ireland again but was also able to bike down the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland.

Not on my own and not on a bike

As I said at the start of this blog post I’m just back from another excellent trip to Ireland, but this time I wasn’t on my own and I wasn’t on a motorbike. My wife and I spent a coupe of weeks in Ireland travelling by car and we really did have a superb time.

We stayed in three separate places, each very different but each ot them very good and all of which we would recommend. The first was in Larne in Northern Ireland, then to Lisnabert (in County Donegal) and then down to Kenmare (in County Kerry) …. we really enjoyed ourselves and saw a lot.

What did we see and where did we go?

I wrote and posted recently about the last days of summer, but we felt like we were squeezing just a bit ore form summer with this trip.

In short – we went all over the place but our trip included the Titanic Museum in Belfast, the Free Derry Museum in Derry, the Giants Causeway, Dingle, Bantry and a host of other places and we managed to snap a few decent pictures as well..

Blog posts coming soon

I’ll provide a write up and pictures in the coming days from our trip – don’t forget to check back
