August visit to City Airport and Heliport Manchester

I always enjoy my visits to City Airport in Manchester. From leaving home I can be there in 20 minutes or so and if the weather is good it really is a decent place to pass an hour or two.

Last week with time to spare and with the sun shining I decided to nip down to Barton and take a few pictures. It turned out to be well worth the trip as there was plenty of activity with numerous aircraft coming and going and a decent amount of activity from the helicopters, including some I hadn’t seen before.
