Words and pictures from a magnificent couple of weeks in the Scottish highlands, the West Coast, Orkney before finishing off on the east coast. The trip was altogether different from the last trip I wrote about, when we visited Liverpool and which you can see at this link.

Part one will cover the first five days of the trip when we based ourselves in Fort William. Part two will feature our time on Orkney along with a couple of terrific highlights there. The third and final part will cover time on the east coast when we based ourselves at Stonehaven for four days
