Macro photography in the garden – with Neewer macro ring flash

Well there’s an expression that I quite like and it’s the ‘every day’s a school day’ expression, and I suppose it is, there really is always something to learn. The next few days will see me having a go with a new ‘gadget’ for my macro photography.

I have just bought a Neewer ring flash and the images in the picture gallery below are more or less the first that I took. Like any new piece of equipment it’s sure to take a little bit of getting used to, but on the basis that every day really is a school day I’m sure I will learn more in the coming days and weeks.
