Back to Scotland and making the most of November – part two
Part two of the back to Scotland post features more images from our coastal walking (east coast in Berwickshire). If you missed Part One you can see it here – the weather and the walking were superb and our second day there saw us make a classic ‘wrong coat’ mistake as we headed off for a decent coastal walk along St Abbs Head.
Superb coastline and superb coastal walking
The early morning was bright and cold and we had assumed it would stay pretty chilly and that a keen sea breeze would mean we would need our ‘big’ coats.
We couldn’t have been more wrong – the sun came up, the wind dropped and in no time at all it’s fair to say we were pretty warm – it didn’t spoil our walk and as you will see in the picture gallery the views were simply stunning, and although there would have been much more wildlife had we visited a month or so earlier in the year we thoroughly enjoyed our walk along this wonderful stretch of coastline.
