We have been walking the Peak Forest canal a few times in recent weeks, it really is a delightful place for a wander, whether thats spending time down at Buxworth Basin, the basin at Whaley Bridge or heading in the opposite direction towards Marple and past the pretty marina with a variety of brightly decorated narrow boats moored there.
The first of our three recent outings to the canal was around the middle of August, some pictures are in the gallery below – it really is an ideal way to pass some time, on this occasion the weather was lovely, but to be honest it’s nice enough whatever the weather.
