Picture post – canal walking on the Peak Forest canal

I have posted many times in the past and featured some of our canal walks. Many of those walks have taken in stretches of a canal that we really enjoy walking along – the Peak Forest canal. This blog post is a picture post that has pictures from two recent walks that both started in the High Lane area of the Peak Forest canal.

For the most part the it’s a really lovely canal to wander along – it’s pretty good at any time of the year, but early summer when it’s bursting with new life really is a decent time to stroll along the towpath and it is always well worth the effort of doing so.
